Monteverdi-Choir
The Monteverdi Choir Hamburg is among the most renowned choirs in Germany. For more than 60 years, it has represented the City of Hamburg and its university on concert tours and at international festivals both in Germany and abroad.
Since 2018, the choir’s artistic director has been conductor Antonius Adamske. Its approximately 60 members possess solid musical training, with the ensemble’s main focus lying on a cappella choral literature. Beyond that, the choir has also celebrated great successes with performances of classical choral symphonies in collaboration with distinguished orchestras.
As the choir operates independently of university semesters, new members are welcome at any time. Interested singers are invited to contact the board of the supporting association at: mitsingen"AT"monteverdi-chor.de
